This is not my first attempt at blogging and I did consider resurrecting the original Contentedly Discontent. But, it's almost two years since I last posted so I decided to opt for a clean break. Many things have stayed the same yet many things have changed. I have continuted to be a regular blog reader and have often thought of subjects for blog posts but never got round to it. With the new football season kicking off today and therefore me becoming a Saturday afternoon football widow again, now seems like as good a time as any to take up blogging again.
So, should anyone stumble across this, by way of a brief introduction: Hello. I'm Holly and I share a little patch of northern England with my Wife and our dog. My wife is not legally my wife as we are not civilly partnered but after nine years I can't imagine her not being my wife. Throw into the mix a handful of step-kids, two handfuls of grandkids, a dysfunctional family elsewhere in the country, a career, a camera and the odd glass of wine and you have my contentedly discontent life.
